The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and OPTIM launch the Program for Managers "Republic of Moldova – Romania".

The "Republic of Moldova – Romania" program will run from March to May 2024 and is organized in cooperation with the Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Romania, to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations and take over the experience of the Romanian private sector.

Anna Tibuleac, Deputy Director, OPTIM Project: "The "Republic of Moldova – Romania" program is a partnership designed to facilitate a dialogue conducive to developing local businesses and strengthening bilateral relations between Moldova and Romania. Through this program, we aim, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova and the Chamber of Commerce of Brasov, to identify collaboration opportunities for participating companies, to improve the skills of managers in the Republic of Moldova through the exchange of experiences, to strengthen the links between business environments and to support economic development. We are launching this program with the certainty that it will bring many benefits to both parties involved and increase the number of beneficiaries.”

The capacity building program of managers "Republic of Moldova – Romania" will include 2 stages: online training on topics related to EU market research, identification of partners, distribution channels, European Union regulations, etc. The program also includes a study visit to Brasov, Romania, to study the Romanian market and identify potential business partners. 

As a result of participating in the “Republic of Moldova – Romania” management skills training program, the beneficiaries will improve their knowledge and practical business management skills, take over the experience and good practices of their Romanian counterparts.

The cooperation of the chamber institution with OPTIM began in 2018, and over the years, with the support of the OPTIM Project, the CCI of the Republic of Moldova has developed electronic services, the platforms www.client.chamber.md, www.virtual.fairs.md, promoted domestic products in regional exhibitions.

The "Republic of Moldova – Romania" program is financed by the Government of Switzerland, through OPTIM Project, implemented by Helvetas.
