Knowledge Management

Optim’s approach to Knowledge Management is designed to ensure people access the right information at the right time, and that team members operate in an environment where they are incentivized to generate knowledge that contributes to the project's performance and visibility.

Knowledge is at the heart of our community, and that includes creating knowledge maps, organizing resources, identifying knowledge gaps and many others. We believe that an effective approach to KML relies on a team culture that fosters sharing and collaboration.

Knowledge management is essential for adaptive management.

Optim aims to ensure that the tacit knowledge that is available to team members is systematically shared, stored, and analyzed in a way that allows for decision-making and helps the project continuously improve. This knowledge consists not only of information resources such as documents, databases, or the project’s website/social media channels but also of the processes and practices within the project’s team.
