A valuable experience for business: the experience of Victoria Shevcenco at the "Republic of Moldova – Romania Program for managers"

On November 20-25, 15 managers from the Republic of Moldova participated in the second edition of the "Republic of Moldova-Romania" Program. The study visit, carried out in Baia Mare, brought together entrepreneurs from various fields – agriculture, tourism, transport and bakery – to learn from the experiences of Romanian producers, discover innovative practices and establish direct business relationships.

Among the participants was Victoria Shevchenko, deputy director of the bakery company "S.A. Cahulpan". The experience gained in Baia Mare was a valuable one for her, giving her both inspiration and concrete development directions. "I believe that entrepreneurs need to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in order to keep up with the latest trends and keep their business competitive. It was a unique experience that allowed us to take examples and inspiration from the success stories of entrepreneurs in Baia Mare," said Victoria.

During the visit, Victoria was able to establish partnerships with two local bakery companies – and identify solutions for the development of her business. Among the first objectives it has set itself to implement are reorganizations in the production departments, new product promotion strategies and collaboration with specialists in developing new recipes. “We discussed good practices in product diversification and learned how to work more effectively on new recipes. This information is extremely useful to bring innovation and quality to our production,” added Victoria.

Another important aspect of the program was the diversity of participants from the Republic of Moldova. “This diversity has given us the chance to learn about the successes and challenges of other sectors, which will help to establish long-lasting partnerships. I strongly believe that the dialogue between entrepreneurs is the key to business development both in Moldova and in Romania,"Victoria mentioned.

The "Republic of Moldova-Romania" programme continues to demonstrate that the exchange of experiences and cross-border collaboration can bring significant benefits to regional economic development. Victoria encourages other entrepreneurs to apply to this programme, highlighting the added value it brings. “It's a unique opportunity to learn, interact with other professionals, and bring new ideas home,” she concluded.

The "Republic of Moldova – Romania" program was carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the Maramures Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of Switzerland and Helvetas Moldova, through the OPTIM Project.
