OPTIM Project Launches a Tender for the Procurement of Electric Heating Systems for Vineyards in the Central Region of Moldova

In this context, OPTIM is seeking environmentally friendly electric protection solutions for vineyards against frost, one of Moldova's biggest challenges for viticulturists. The proposed electric heating system is an energy-efficient solution based on electric heating technologies, designed to protect vines from the destructive effects of low temperatures.

This call is addressed to agricultural companies capable of designing and installing an electric protection solution for vineyards in the central region of Moldova. The system will be installed on two separate plots, each with the following configuration:

Plot 1: Table grapes, 1-year-old plantation, area of 1.7 hectares, distance between plants – 2 meters, distance between rows – 3 meters, totaling 44 rows (each 116 meters long).

Plot 2: Table grapes, 5-year-old plantation, area of 1.65 hectares, distance between plants – 2 meters, distance between rows – 3 meters, totaling 45 rows (10 rows of 123 meters, 10 rows of 128 meters, 11 rows of 133 meters, 14 rows of 85 meters).
