Mariana Rufa, CEO of EBA Moldova, reflected on the value of the event: “The RAN workshop was both informative and valuable for advocacy practitioners across the region. It introduced new methods for identifying, researching, and addressing key issues. Hearing from experts across the Balkans was inspiring, and it was an opportunity to share Moldova’s achievements in policy and advocacy. Our country’s collaborative framework between the private sector, civil society, and public authorities could serve as a model for the entire region.”
A Focus on Civic Engagement and Collaborative Partnerships
Throughout the event, participants emphasized the critical role of civic engagement in upholding the rule of law. They explored innovative partnerships with the private sector and media, ensuring diverse voices are represented and heard. Such collaborative efforts are essential in maintaining a dynamic and participatory civic environment across Eastern Europe.
