OPTIM Partners’ Day 2025: A Community Growing Stronger Together

Helvetas Moldova, through the OPTIM Project, brought together more than 70 representatives of the private sector, business support organisations, development partners and collaborators for OPTIM Partners’ Day - a space created to connect people, listen to their needs and shape the next steps in Moldova’s economic development.

1st December 2025

Over 30 long-term partners joined the event, representing sectors that are essential for a more competitive and innovative economy. The discussions focused on how businesses can continue to grow, what support they need, and how collaboration across different actors can make development efforts more effective.

A Space for Open Dialogue and New Ideas

Participants shared experiences, exchanged insights and explored new opportunities for cooperation. The atmosphere was informal and dynamic, giving partners the chance to speak openly about challenges, market trends, and what would help them move forward — whether it is better skills, improved services, or access to new markets.

The event also highlighted the role of Switzerland’s support, implemented through Helvetas, in helping Moldovan entrepreneurs and organisations strengthen their capacities and work towards EU-aligned standards.

“Partnership is more than collaboration - it is the foundation of trust that allows real change to happen. OPTIM Partners’ Day reminded us that Moldova’s economic progress is strongest when we work together, listen to each other, and remain committed to long-term development. We are proud to stand beside our partners as they shape a more competitive and forward-looking business environment.”, Bojan Kolundzija, Helvetas Moldova Country Director.

Looking Ahead

Helvetas will continue to work closely with its partners to support innovation, responsible business practices and sustainable growth. The OPTIM Project remains committed to bringing people together, strengthening local actors and creating opportunities that help Moldova build a resilient economic future.
