Helvetas Moldova recently had the pleasure of welcoming two distinguished guests from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University: J. Jose Cisneros, Director of International Programs, and Chadi Sayde, Associate Professor.

Together, we discussed the current challenges facing Moldova’s agricultural sector and explored how we could combine our expertise to develop effective and sustainable solutions. The conversation focused on promoting modern agricultural practices and strengthening agricultural extension services – a key element in advancing the sector.

This first meeting marked an important step toward a transatlantic collaboration with real impact potential. We are excited about the possibility of working together to support a more resilient, innovative, and competitive agricultural sector in the Republic of Moldova.
