
Didier Chassot, Head of Division Europe and Middle East, SDC, Visits Vitrohub Laboratory: Supporting Innovation in Moldovan Agriculture
The OPTIM Project, in partnership with VitroHub Lab, had the honor of hosting Mr. Didier Chassot, Head of Division Europe and Middle East at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), along with Mr. Guido Beltrani, Director of Cooperation of the Swiss Cooperation Office / Representation of the Embassy of Switzerland to Moldova, and Mr. Simone Di Stefano, Deputy Director of Cooperation of the Swiss Cooperation Office / Representation of the Embassy of Switzerland to Moldova, during their visit to VitroHub Lab.

VitroHub Lab plays an important role in Moldova’s research and development landscape, contributing to the local production of planting material and the training of young professionals.
This facility supports the growth of Moldova’s agricultural economy by fostering innovation, generating knowledge and enhancing skills.
During the visit, discussions centered on the VitroHub model of public-private partnership, which has successfully facilitated the application of scientific research, diversification, and climate resilience strategies, as well as future growth plans.
