This year’s Moldova Digital Summit, themed "Powering a 100% Digital Tomorrow”, highlights Moldova's transformation journey towards a 100% digital state. The current edition is aligned with the European Digital Decade's vision for a sustainable, human-centric digital society and explores innovative ways to foster transformation across governance, business, and infrastructure. Leading experts from the EU, US, and Southeast Europe will unveil strategies for digital acceleration, including the digitalization of public services for improved efficiency and transparency, the transformation of the economy and businesses by empowering SMEs and fostering tech startups, skill development for a future-ready workforce, and the creation of a secure, resilient digital infrastructure.
The Moldova Digital Summit is held under the patronage of Moldova's Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and co-organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. The event sets the course for the transition towards a globally integrated digital economy.
A key highlight of the summit is the official launch of the free digital application, EVO, an innovative app that integrates all available public services, allowing citizens to seamlessly utilise electronic documents. "Evo is just the beginning. Improvements will follow because digital transformation is a process, not a destination," stated Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba.
Digitalization is a necessity for Moldova to advance and prosper.
