Helvetas Moldova Supports the Organisation of the Moldova–Switzerland Business Forum 2026

Helvetas Moldova, with the support of Swiss Cooperation in Moldova, joins the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Zurich, the Swiss Confederation, and the Investment Agency of Moldova in organising this event. This engagement reflects Switzerland’s continued commitment to supporting the sustainable development of the private sector in the Republic of Moldova.

The Forum will bring together Moldovan and Swiss companies interested in exploring the trade and investment opportunities offered by the Free Trade Agreement between EFTA and the Republic of Moldova. The event will create a practical framework for direct dialogue, partnership building and expanding access for Moldovan products to the Swiss market.

Supporting the Agri-Food Sector

Together with its partner, Export Agency, Helvetas Moldova will coordinate the panel dedicated to agriculture and the agri-food sector — a strategic area for Moldova’s economy. The session will facilitate direct connections between Moldovan producers and Swiss buyers, with a focus on quality standards, competitiveness and integration into international markets.

Through this involvement, Helvetas Moldova and Swiss Cooperation in Moldova contribute to creating tangible opportunities for Moldovan companies, supporting business internationalisation and strengthening bilateral economic relations.

The Moldova–Switzerland Business Forum represents an important step in deepening economic cooperation between the two countries and in promoting a competitive private sector connected to European markets.
