10th June 2025

These educators represent the first group to graduate from an intensive JAVA course designed to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to teach programming to students in an engaging and practical way.

The event served as a platform for reflection, sharing experiences, and discussing how theory and practice can be effectively combined to make learning programming both accessible and exciting for students.

Teachers are vital in preparing youth for the realities of a digital job market. They are the key link through which essential digital skills are transferred to the next generation. Supporting teachers is therefore a strategic investment in Moldova’s digital transformation and economic future.

The event was attended by development partners and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research, including Anton Muntean, Skills Development & Job Intermediation Component Manager at Helvetas Moldova, and Silviu Gîncu, Head of the Directorate for Vocational and Lifelong Learning Policy.
